informatica feminale BW<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

_ informatica feminale Baden-Wurttemberg<\/strong> is the<\/em> Summer School for female students and specialists in informatics and IT. It takes place every summer at the Uni <\/a>University of Freiburg <\/a>or at the Furtwangen University<\/a> (Schwenningen campus). Of course, women from other STEM subjects are also very welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Female students make up the majority of participants at informatica feminale BW. However, the participants not only come from universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of cooperative education<\/strong>but also from industry and practice and already have some professional experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The summer school gives them the opportunity to learn more about current topics in one- or three-day courses for small groups. Each participant can put together her own timetable of courses, workshops and events in the supporting program according to the modular principle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lecturers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The lecturers at informatica feminale BW are also all women<\/strong>. They come from both academia<\/strong> and industry<\/strong> and pass on their knowledge to the next generation. Some already have a lot of experience from teaching or coaching activities, others are taking their first steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Courses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The program advisory board puts together an up-to-date and varied program from the wide range of offers received by Call 4 Lectures<\/strong> eingeht, stellt der Programmbeirat ein aktuelles und abwechslungsreiches Programm zusammen. Weil f\u00fcr eine erfolgreiche Berufslaufbahn nicht nur Fachwissen z\u00e4hlt, bietet die informatica feminale BW auch viele M\u00f6glichkeiten, an den eigenen Soft Skills zu arbeiten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Networking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Building and maintaining a network of helpful contacts is at least as important as specialist knowledge. Many women are exotic in a male-dominated environment during their studies or in their field of work. With us, they have the opportunity to make new contacts and learn from role models.<\/strong> The supporting program offers plenty of opportunity for Networking<\/strong> where you can meet up after an interesting day of study. Our cafeteria is an important meeting place during the breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Organisers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Summer School informatica feminale BW has been taking place since 2001. It is a project of Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Wurttemberg<\/a>The \"Netzwerk F.I.T\" is organising the event as project management agency under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ulrike Busolt. The project is part of the state initiative \"Women in MINT Professions in Business, Science and Research\".<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
